the songs are from 2006 ~ 2010:

the first one when i met my love and the last one when we married

~

i make songs on impulse and they can seem random so when i realised these songs were connected i put them together as one record.

~

needing specific string sounds, i asked four musical friends to join me:

tom hughes on cello , úna monaghan on harp , angie o’reilly on violin and rohan armstrong on double bass

~

self-producing ‘lost and found’ taught me a lot ~ it is a document of my skills at the time and an insight into my experience of love / self sacrifice

~

we have performed it live in the menagerie for belfast music week, and in the lyric theatre for the bounce arts festival

 ~
